Drawinxs captures the latest announcement of Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Trenas declaring temporary suspension of travel of persons between Iloilo and Bacolod starting July 27, 2020 – today.
“Travel between Iloilo City and Bacolod City for all persons will be temporarily suspended starting July 27, said Mayor Trenas, subject to the meeting of the RIATF today yet movement of goods and shipment of cargo shall remain unhampered.”
The same announcement was released last week, July 22, by Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Trenas and Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. closing borders for travelers from Bacolod City and from the provinces of Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental due to rising cases of COVID-19.
