Search is on for Bulawanon nga Nanay 2024
The Iloilo City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) through the Iloilo Task Force on Street Children (ICTFSC) is embarking on a mission to honor the sacrifices of mothers through the 15th Search for Bulawanon nga Nanay 2024. This event serves as a poignant reminder to recognize and celebrate the remarkable contributions of mothers in our lives.
The Search of “Bulawanon nga Nanay” was conceptualized in May 10, 2009 just in time for the Mother’s Day celebration that year. This momentous event, held during Mother’s Month, serves as a heartfelt tribute to the remarkable love, selflessness, and accomplishments of our Ilonggo mothers.
This year, the City Government thru Iloilo City Task Force on Street Children will embark again on a prestigious event for its 15th Search of the Bulawanon nga Nanay 2024.
This esteemed city-wide search extends a heartfelt invitation to all “Nanay” who epitomize exceptional success in balancing multiple roles within their households and actively contributing to the welfare of the broader community.
GUIDELINES/MECHANICS
• The search is open to all qualified mothers whose age from 45 to 75 years old and bonafide resident of Iloilo City.
• The nominee shall possess good moral standing and must be actively involved in community development.
• Entry form will be provided by your respective CSWDO District Offices.
• Endorsement by barangay officials, social workers, schools and other legitimate organizations in Iloilo City are highly recommended.
• Deadline of submission of entries is on May 15, 2024.
• The assessment, validation and deliberation of entries will be from May 20-24, 2024.
