The Iloilo City Government is making it easier for residents in need of financial support for healthcare through its HAPLOS (Health Assistance sa Pumuluyo, Laboratory kag Ospital Serbis) Program.

HAPLOS provides medical assistance of up to ₱50,000 to qualified indigent and financially challenged Iloilo City residents. The assistance may be used to cover hospitalization, diagnostic procedures, laboratory services, medicines, medical supplies, and other essential healthcare needs.

Residents may apply for the program through the ATIPAN Center located on the 7th Floor of Iloilo City Hall.

How to Avail

To avail of the assistance, applicants must first visit the ATIPAN Center to inquire about the program and submit the required documents, including a Social Case Study addressed to the Iloilo City Government, a Medical Certificate or Medical Abstract, hospital bill, Barangay Indigency of the claimant, and a photocopy of a valid ID.

Once the requirements have been submitted, the application and supporting documents will be evaluated by the assigned personnel. Qualified applicants will then be issued a referral to one of the city’s partner hospitals, where the medical assistance may be applied.

The HAPLOS Program currently partners with Iloilo Mission Hospital, Medical City Iloilo, Iloilo Doctors Hospital, St. Paul’s Hospital Iloilo, Medicus Medical Center, and Metro Iloilo Hospital and Medical Center.

HAPLOS is one of the Iloilo City Government’s flagship healthcare initiatives under Mayor Raisa Treñas’ RISE-to-ACTION Framework, particularly the Rising Health and Social Services pillar, aimed at providing timely and accessible medical assistance to residents facing financial difficulties due to illness or hospitalization.
