Iloilo City Community College (ICCC) will be offering Bachelor of Science in Criminology, the fourth degree in its list of free courses.

Mayor Jerry Treñas encourages residents and graduates of city high schools to enrol and continue their education for better employment opportunities in the future.

ICCC will accept applicants in June for incoming freshmen this school year when classes open in August. This, after the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office 6 approved the same May 23, 2023 upon validation May 12, 2023.

ICCC is a CHED-recognized institution offering free tuition and other school fees by virtue of Republic Act (RA) 10931 or Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act.

The school initially started with Bachelor of Science (BS) in Tourism Management (BSTM) and BS in Office Administration (BSOA). It added another course last year, Bachelor of Special Needs Education (BSNEd) major in Early Childhood Education (ECD).

 

The application period is from June 15 until July 14, 2023 (9 am – 3 pm). Application Forms will be available starting in May. Kindly visit the Registrar’s Office or call (033) 337-2760 for inquiries.

  • BSNEd & BSCrim – June 15 until July 10, 2023 (9AM-3PM)

Qualifications

  • Resident of Iloilo City
  • Graduate of Iloilo City Schools
  • General Weighted Average of 85% or better with no grade below 80% in English, Science, and Math
  • Parents and applicant are bonafide residents and voters of Iloilo City
  • Family annual income must not exceed P240,000

Entry Requirements

  • Birth Certificate (Original PSA-authenticated)
  • Original Copy of Report Card
  • Barangay Clearance of Applicant
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character
  • Voter’s Certificate/Photocopy of voter’s ID (Parents and applicant)
  • Income Tax Return of Parents/BIR Tax Exemption Certificate
  • 2pcs recent identical 2×2 picture
