Cornelius Magnate Engagement & Consulting, together with the Iloilo Business Club, Inc., held Serious Business Talk, a full-day executive forum gathering business owners, senior executives, and practitioners for discussions on customer experience, succession, intellectual property, data privacy, and reputational risk. The forum brought these issues into one program and treated them as connected concerns for enterprises operating in Western Visayas.

The event reflects the consulting and training work Cornelius Magnate Engagement & Consulting has been building across Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao. Based in Iloilo, the firm has been developing forums and advisory platforms that address operational, strategic, and governance questions facing regional enterprises. In Serious Business Talk, the firm served as co-organizer, program designer, and lead facilitator.

Ken Lerona, Principal Consultant, Founder & President of Cornelius Magnate Engagement & Consulting, moderated the forum and framed the day’s discussions. Known in the region as a business consultant in Iloilo, Lerona’s work covers innovation, customer experience strategy, organizational capability development, and reputational risk management. His consulting and training engagements as an innovation consultant in Visayas and Mindanao have focused on helping organizations build stronger systems for execution and continuity.

The morning session, Building a Holistic Ilonggo Branded Experience Mindset, examined customer experience as enterprise infrastructure. Speakers looked at how service quality is shaped by systems, routines, technology, and leadership discipline. Atty. Lcid Crescent Fernandez of Prometheus – The Prominent Enterprise discussed planning systems and technology in support of service consistency. Gabriel Lorenzo J. Garcia of Romac Visayas Services, Inc. focused on frontline execution. Reynard Buga-ay of AyalaLand VisMin spoke on customer experience in real estate environments, from estate planning to long-term property operations.

The afternoon session, Safeguarding Enterprise Values Across Generations: IP, Succession, and Reputation, turned to continuity and protection. Atty. Ed T. Reyes III of ETRIII Law provided general legal information on structures that help preserve enterprise value. Joining him in the intellectual property discussion were Atty. Nestor Jeremy Moreno and Atty. Karen Anne Vega. The succession planning segment was led by Atty. Gelie Rose P. Famillaran-Naciongayo and Atty. Kchyrziahshayne Dyñelle V. Dinopol, with Atty. Mae-Z Clarito and Atty. Camille Fuentes participating in the panel. The data privacy segment was led by Atty. Juanito Balasote III, joined in the panel by Atty. Jan Renzo Besa, Atty. Athena Gabrielle Eguia Julabar, Atty. Nestor Jeremy Moreno, and Atty. Noel Christopher Belleza.

Also joining the forum was the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines through Ms. Marianne Bebit, Field Operations In-Charge for Western Visayas, who discussed intellectual property protection as a business concern with direct implications for growth, distinctiveness, and continuity.

For participants, the message was clear: customer trust, governance discipline, and continuity planning now belong in the same management conversation.
