60 New beneficiaries get livelihood capital under Mayor Raisa’s TLC Program
Another batch of Ilonggo families received support from the city’s livelihood initiatives as 60 new beneficiaries were granted assistance under the Tindahan, Livelihood, and Cart (TLC) ni Inday program led by Mayor Raisa Treñas.
Each beneficiary received P10,000 worth of livelihood capital to help them start small businesses and strengthen their household income. The assistance was facilitated through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) led by manager Gab Umadhay.
This turnover follows the program’s earlier rollouts—25 beneficiaries in July in collaboration with the City Social Welfare and Development Office, and 60 beneficiaries in October with the Gender and Development Office—highlighting the city’s sustained efforts to uplift more families.
In her message, Mayor Treñas emphasized the administration’s commitment to inclusive progress:
“We are making sure nga tanan nga Ilonggo, kon ano ang pwede kag nagakadapat sa inyo nga bulig. We are making sure that, one day at a time, may ara kita nga pamilyang Ilonggo mabuligan, maangat para sa kauswagan sang tanan.”
She also encouraged the beneficiaries to maximize the assistance for long-term growth.
Mayor Treñas added a reminder:
With the continued rollout of the TLC ni Inday program, PESO–Iloilo City reaffirms its mission to help Ilonggo families rise, grow, and build a more secure future.
